Hiya, I'm Phire.

I'm female, of Chinese background, and I live in Canada.

I consider writing my first love, even though it's been a long time since I've written fiction regularly. In the last eight years or so I've gravitated far more to drawing because it's easier to doodle in the margins of your notebook than to write a story without someone noticing. Most people in my life would associate me with art more than with writing.

I also consider reading my biggest vice. I can sit in one spot for four hours and devour a complete novel in one afternoon with nothing but a glass of water to sustain me, and I miss having time for moments like that.

I mostly do my work using a 9 x 12 WACOM Intuo Tablet, and various versions of Adobe Photoshop. I code all my HTML & CSS by hand and I'm starting to pick up PHP and Javascript in my spare time. If I'm awake, I'm probably in front of a computer. If I'm in front of my computer, I'm probably listening to music.
